Our Annual Holiday Market
This week we have been getting in the holiday spirit with our annual Holiday Market! Our little elves had the chance to shop, check out at a register, and wrap presents for their family, pets, and loved ones - all while targeting their therapy goals!
Building shoe tying skills while tying ribbons
Using categories and describing words when choosing gifts
Strengthening hands to tear tape
Promoting functional mobility while carrying presents
Handwriting practice while making tags
Targeting speech sounds through conversation
Challenging dynamic sitting balance while wrapping
And more!
At Justabout Pediatric Therapy, we love using holiday fun to help children participate in holiday magic, while moving, learning, and growing with confidence! Contact us to learn more & schedule and initial evaluation today!
Back to School Screenings
Back to school means it is time for new skills and challenges! At Justabout Pediatric Therapy, we shared a Back to School Screening Packet with all of our families to check in on key developmental milestones across different skill areas. This gave our physical, occupational, and speech therapists a chance to share fun, play-based activities families can try at home — and to help identify any areas where a little extra support might be helpful!
Interested in learning more? Families can request a copy of our Back to School Screening Packet anytime! We also are available to partner with local preschools or community groups to provide FREE developmental screenings — a fun and engaging way to support children’s growth together. Contact us to get started!
Trunk or Treat 2025
Trick or Treat! Mrs Becky and Miss Heather had a blast Saturday at Peters Township Parks and Recreation’s Trunk or Treat!
While passing out Halloween treats, our therapists helped trick or treaters to make a collaborative coloring page while trying out adaptive crayons and pencil grips! We loved seeing everyone’s creativity!
South Park Theatre Collaboration
It has been our pleasure to collaborate with South Park Children’s Theatre to provide sensory tools and resources for their patrons! We provided wiggle cushions, fidgets, sunglasses, noise-cancelling headphones, a visual timer, and a weighted lap pad for use during the show; helping individuals with sensory processing differences enjoy the magic of live performances!
Next time you visit South Park Theatre, ask about these available sensory tools. These resources are free to use!
